Marko Vidojković was born in Belgrade in 1975. He graduated at the Law School at University of Belgrade. Had published over thirty stories in magazines “Knjizevni magazin”, “Poluostrvo”, “Treci trg” and “Duga”, as well in the books “Bukowski Project” and “Podgorica Nights”. He published five novels so far: “The Dance of Small-Time Demons” (2001), “The Devil is a Friend of Mine” (2002), “Butts on the Beach” (2003), “The Claws” (2004) and “All Red Riding Hoods are the Same” (2006). In 2007 he published the book of short stories “God Bless You”. “The Claws” had eight editions so far, with total of 20.000 copies sold. This book was the best selling book of a Serbian author in Serbian bookstores in 2005, and the second most read book of a Serbian author in National public libraries network in the same year and the fifth most read in 2006. For “The Claws”, Vidojković won The Golden Bestseller and Kocić Feather awards. For the novel “All Red Riding Hoods are the Same” Vidojković won The Golden Sunflower Award for the best book in 2006, and was published in five editions so far, with total of 10.000 copies sold. This book was seventh most read book of Serbian author in National public libraries network in 2007. “The dance of Small-Time Demons” was translated in German and published by Horlemann Verlag in 2005. “The Claws” were published in Slovenia in 2006 by Založba Tuma and in Croatia in 2007, by Profil. Marko Vidojković is among ten best-selling both Serbian and foreign authors in last five years (source: www.knjizara.com). He currently works as executive editor of Serbian Playboy.
