Elife Krasniqi ist Anthropologin, feministische Aktivistin und Schriftstellerin. Sie studierte Soziologie in Prishtina (BA) und schloss ein Masterstudium an The New School for Social Research in New York ab. Derzeit promoviert sie an der Universitt Graz, wo sie von 2010 bis 2013 am Zentrum fr Sdosteuropastudien arbeitete. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Familienstudien, Genderbeziehungen in Sdosteuropa und Erinnerungsstudien. Fr ihr Stck Citycide erhielt sie 2011 den zweiten Preis der Auszeichnung Katerina Josipi des Kosovarischen Nationaltheaters.
